This is the first year for the very successful ‘Yuppie’ car, also known as the “Ultimate Tanning Machine”.
The Convertible received BMW’s strongest engine available for the 3-Series (at the time), the 2.5 liter 6-cylinder with 168 hp and 164 ft-lb of torque.
The car featured:
Color coded bumpers
Fog lights
Four seats in full leather
The upgraded sound system
Sports seats
On-board computer, cruise control and other standard features
The brochure is exclusively done for the 325i convertible and shows many details of the car, technical specifications, and a neat picture of the convertible next to a classic BMW 319 convertible.
Also included is an unused postcard for the 325i Convertible.
