Description
ARM Cortex-M3/M0 SWD Programmer/Debugger, 10-pin 2mm-pitch, USBNGX CoLinkEx
The NGX CoLinkEx clone is a hardware debugging adapter which supports Serial Wire Debug of both ARM Cortex-M3 and Cortex-M0 devices. It is based on the open-hardware
CooCox CoLinkEx
(V1.0) and supports debugging in the open-source
CooCox CoIDE
or CoFlash software and in commercial products like Keil Realview MDK and IAR Embedded Workbench.
The board dimensions are 55 Ă— 35 mm. It connects via mini-USB to the host PC. The JTAG/SWD interface is the small, 2.0mm-pitch 10-pin SWD connector. Make sure your target hardware is using that interface, and not the larger 2.54mm-pitch 10-pin connector or a 20-pin connector.
CoLinkEx drivers are available for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows XP/Vista/7. A firmware update will be required also before you can use the NGX CoLinkEx with
CoIDE/CoFlash 1.4.0
or higher or with the
CoMDK Plugin 1.4.0
or higher.
As this programmer is based on the CooCox CoLinkEx, please see the
CooCox CoLinkEx page
for firmware and driver downloads, supported devices lists, MDK/IAR plugins, and a user manual. Just note that this programmer is based on the V1.0 CoLinkEx, while the user manual usually shows the V1.1 which has multiple programming interfaces (the interface on this programmer is what is shown as
J3
on the V1.1). The instructions for using the software still apply, however.
