Beautiful Cast Sterling Silver & Turquoise Bolo Tie - John Burnside!

This is a very fine cast sterling silver & turquoise bolo tie by the preeminent Navajo silversmith
John Burnside
( ? - 1988).
Burnside worked for numerous trade shops including C.G. Wallace.
He was regarded as a pioneer in sand-casting methodology.
His work is VERY rare!
This example is of museum quality.
The bolo slide measures just over 3 inches in length...and 2 inches in width.

he flawless turquoise cabochon has beautiful matrix and measures 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch.
The sterling silver tips measre 2 inches in length.
All of the silver components have heavy patina...and a few very minor suface scratches.
The braided brown leather cord is worn but quite useable.
