NOTE ABOUT GRAIN:    I have noticed that many of my images displayed on eBay exhibit excessive graininess;  While Ektachrome film
is somewhat  more prone to grain issues than Kodachrome, none of my slides have near as much grain
as appears on some of my eBay listings.  Feel free to ask
if you have any concerns.
Copyright license:          License to reproduce and publish is included in the purchase price (see details below)
SALES TAX:                    Several states are now collecting a sales tax from eBay PURCHASERS who reside in those states.
Your eBay invoice for purchases from me will reflect any local tax assessment.  The tax is collected by PayPal
or eBay from the proceeds of sale.
Technical Information:
The viewable eBay® image was digitally scanned from the actual slide offered for sale into a TIFF raw digital format using a multi-scan process to capture as much detail as possible. Minimal post-scan processing was performed with Adobe Photoshop to return the published image shown above to approximately the appearance of the original slide capture, with size reduction, conversion to JPEG format and minimal sharpening for optimized Web-page presentation.
The original slide image offered for sale may be darker or lighter than the digitized copy portrayed above, but the copy is intended to be a reasonably faithful representation of the original in color and in general detail, subject to the specific image and color rendering capabilities of the computer and monitor used to view the image on eBay. Generally, aside from the quality of the camera and lens and the particular camera settings used to capture the original image, Ektachrome slides tend to be a bit less "sharp" than Kodachrome slides.
Payment:
Seller will invoice Buyer for payment.
Due to eBay delays in getting payments to Sellers, payment is requested by Wednesday noon Pacific Time following the sale date to assure prompt shipment of your purchase.   Please contact Seller promptly if there is a problem in making payment within that time-frame, or if Buyer wishes to obtain insurance or special shipping options.  Seller reserves the right to re-list any slide not paid for within 7 days after the end of the auction. Non-paying or chronically late-paying winning bidders may be blocked from participating in future auctions.
Shipping to Buyers located within the United States
:
Slides will ordinarily be shipped on the first Wednesday following receipt of payment by eBay.   If payment is NOT received by eBay by Wednesday of the week following the sale date, your purchase will be shipped on the first Wednesday following your payment date.
As of August 1, 2020 eBay began processing payments for most eBay purchases which has resulted in a longer time for payments being deposited in Sellers' bank accounts than was experienced with PayPal.  If payment to Seller's bank account is delayed, shipping of purchased items may also be delayed.  It will likely take some time for eBay to get  its new payments system properly functioning which will affect Sellers and Buyers alike.
My experience so far has been that it takes eBay 4 to 5 days after the date the Buyer pays for the item to get the money into my bank account.  With PayPal, funds received from Buyers were in my bank account within 24 hours of the date of payment.  eBay really needs to streamline its process in this regard.
Additionally, given the collateral effects of the current health pandemic, I am limiting my visits to the Post Office to once a week.  Slides are always mailed directly from a USPS facility to assure that there is a record of shipment and also to reduce the chance that slides get damaged by exposure to excess heat if left in a mailbox, etc.  I live in Phoenix!
Seller will post a shipping confirmation notice on eBay after Buyer's order is shipped. Please contact Seller if an item is not delivered within 10 days from the date of payment to a U.S. Buyer.
Shipping by U.S. Postal Service First Class mail is provided free of charge to addresses within the United States. Priority and Express Mail are available to Buyer for the actual cost of shipment. Buyer must promptly notify Seller following the close of bidding if Buyer wishes to obtain any special handling or shipping arrangements.
If a purchase does not arrive within 10 days from the payment date, feel free to e-mail Seller and an attempt will be made to find out the details of your shipment from the USPS shipping receipt / Proof of Mailing. So far there have not been any reported losses to any of Seller's mailers... just inexcusable delays by the USPS.
Shipping to Buyers located outside of the United States
:
DUE TO THE RECENT INCREASE IN POSTAL FEES AND CONTENTS RESTRICTIONS FOR FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL MAIL, SELLER IS NO LONGER ABLE TO OFFER SHIPPING TO NON-U.S. /  INTERNATIONAL ADDRESSES.
The rate went from around U.S. .15 to .50 for a single first class letter containing one slide !!!!  NOT a domestic business-friendly gesture.
