    This is a breakout board for the DS1307+ Real Time Clock. The module comes fully assembled and pre-programmed with the current time (for the Mountain Time Zone in North America). The included Lithium coin cell battery (CR1225 41mAh) will run the module for a minimum of

    (17 years
    typical) without external 5V power.
    Access to the DS1307+ is via the I2C protocol. Download the example test-bed code below for some insight on how to communicate with the module from a microcontroller using software I2C and BCD routines.
