Description
This set is ideally suited to allowing you to prototype a circuit onto a shield by providing all the connections on an BBC micro:bit and those, which feature standard sockets with a pin pitch of 2.54mm. The shield is solidly constructed to allow repeated use once attached to a circuit board. All the provided breakouts are well labelled to really help with those prototyping debugs that occur so often.
A large area of points is available in the central area for longer term prototypes; alternatively a 170 point bread board can be used. The bread board is sticky backed to allow you to attach it to a surface or the shield itself. Further to this, the onboard 5.5mm connection allows you to power the BBC micro:bit when connected to a 4.75-12V DC supply.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further information regarding the shield's operation.
