Prototyping PCB for 14- and 18-pin Microchip PIC Microcontrollers with RS232 Port, Status LED, 6-pin single row (Olimex) and RJ12 (Microchip) ICSP connectors, 3.3V & 5.0V Power Supply Circuit and exchangeable Crystal Oscillator Circuit

Minimum Input voltage should be 2.0VDC or 1.5VAC higher than desired board supply voltage
Maximum Input voltage 12VDC or 9VAC
RS232 DB9 female connector with MAX2232 interface circuit and Tx, Rx, CTS, DTR/RTS signals
Rx and Tx pins are connected to PIC UART pins (check schematic for pin compatibility with PIC device of your choice)
Connect CTS,DTR/RTS signals to general I/O pins of your choice
MAX2232 provides reliable RS232 at 3.3V and 5.0V board Vcc
