    Safe and Sound
is the third issue in the
    Horses of Fred Stone Collection
    series.
There is an interesting backstory.  In 1977, the 1970 Canadian Horse of the Year Fanfreluche was in foal to 1972 Horse of the Year and 1973 Triple Crown Winner,  Secretariat.  Fanfreluche was stolen from Claiborne Farm in June 1977, but was found and returned to Claiborne Farm before she foaled.  She had a colt in February 1978 which was named Sain Et Sauf, French for Safe and Sound.
Pristine condition, no chips or cracks.  From my personal collection.
