Investigation underway after body found floating in Hawaii Kai harbor

HAWAII KAI (HawaiiNewsNow) – An investigation is underway after a body was found floating in the water in Hawaii Kai Tuesday morning.
HFD, HPD and EMS responded to the scene around 7:45 a.m. at the Koko Marina Shopping Center.
Officials said crews found an 80-year-old woman floating in the harbor, near a boat slip behind Zippy’s.
HFD pulled the woman out from the water and Honolulu EMS pronounced her dead at the scene.
The cause of the incident is unknown at this time.
